I have like a 10 year old computer and I wanted to know if the Sims 3 needs a newer computer, or will work on any computer? I had the Sims 2 and it worked for about a year and a half, then it stopped. So will Sims 3 work on and older computer?

As Usuario-Anonimo said, it's not a matter of how old your computer is, but whether it meets the requirements for the game. I suggest you open this website in the computer you wish to play The Sims 3 in. When you select from the list the name of the game you want to play, it analyses the characteristics of your computer (CPU, Graphics Card, RAM, etc) and it'll confirm if you can run the game in that computer or not.
