To install this update, please start your game and use the “Updates” tab in your Launcher.

This game update includes the following changes:
Fixed an issue with Korean, Japanese, and Chinese languages where English text was appearing for The Sims 3 Supernatural and The Sims 3 Seasons.
Fixed an issue where audio for the new radio stations in The Sims 3 70s, 80s & 90s Stuff was not working properly.

Before installing an Update for The Sims 3, an Expansion Pack, or a Stuff Pack, it is a good idea to run through the following checklist to ensure your game continues to work smoothly.

Step 1: Disable Custom Content
Custom Content is all Sims content that did not come from an official The Sims 3 Update, The Sims 3 Store, Expansion Pack, or Stuff Pack. Custom Content is created by 3rd Party Developers that are not regulated by Electronic Arts or The Sims 3 Development Team and may not work with new updates. Custom Content may cause the game to behave unexpectedly or not function entirely.
To disable your custom content, undo whatever you did to install this content to get your game back into an unmodified state. If you placed it in a Sims 3 directory folder, move it to a new folder that is outside your Sims 3 file directory. Your Sims 3 file directory can be found using the paths listed below:
Windows File Directory: C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3
Mac File Directory: User/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims/
Once you have installed the official update you may re-enable your custom content. If you experience problems, disable it again until the 3rd party developer updates their content to work with the official Update, Expansion Pack, or Stuff Pack.

Step 2: Back Up your Save Files
It’s always a good precaution to back up your save files before installing an Expansion Pack, Update, or Stuff Pack. To do this, copy the “.sims3” folders found in the Saves folder onto your desktop or another file directory.
Your Sims 3 Saves folder can be found using the paths listed below:
Windows File Directory: C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves
Mac File Directory: User/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims/Saves
After the Update is installed, run the game to verify your saves still function correctly.

Step 3: Let the Update Complete Entirely
Updates can sometimes be rather large and may take a while to download and install completely. Cancelling the update before it has completed may cause unexpected problems, so it is always best to let it finish entirely. Do not close the Launcher until you have confirmed the update is completely installed, as this will cancel the update.

Ha salido una nueva actualización del juego que soluciona un problema con las estaciones de radio de Los '70 '80 '90 Accesorios y con el idioma inglés mostrándose TS3SN y TS3SEA instalados en chino, coreano y japonés.

El mío salió seis minutos antes.
Los problemas que soluciona la nueva actualización solo afectan a los que tienen el juego en idiomas de Asia o a los que ya tengan el nuevo pack de accesorios.

A decir de algunos, con la actualización 1.48 viene la mitad del Pack de accesorios, o por lo menos todo el audio, ya que parece que el pack vino sin los archivos de sonido.

twallan, el creador de los mods NRaas ya ha comprobado la compatibilidad de sus mods, y si son compatibles con el parche 1.48

In case you are all wondering about the Patch, I'm currently in a holding pattern regarding it.
The incremental patch appears to have failed on my setup (unless EA made absolutely no changes to the game, which would be odd considering SimAd mentioned changes earlier)

So I'm waiting on the cumulative patch to download, which is unfortunately excruciatingly slow for whatever reason.
I'll see about getting under way with this as soon as EA servers permit.

UPDATE

Okay, after updating my setup using the cumulative patch, I can honestly say : I still don't see any changes.
I don't even see any changes in GameplayData.package (it has not be updated since Nov. 29 on my setup)

EA did not even bother changing the Build Version on the Core files, so for all intents and purposes the current release of ErrorTrap is also compatible.
The changes must have been solely game-engine related. Doesn't appear to impact scripting what-so-ever.

Everything is fine from my end by the looks of it. I'll update the version numbers to Patch 1.48 when I'm feeling sufficiently bored.

Yo llevo meses sin jugar, y he comprado el nuevo pack, por lo que para instalarlo debo antes el parche. Lo descargo pero cuando intento instalarlo me dice que no, que archivo no válido. ¡MENUDA CHAPUZA!

Pero Luis, ¿Has probado re-instalar el juego? ¿Instalar el parche sin la carpeta Documentos?

¿Para qué me voy a molestar? Llevo meses sin jugar. Con sólo lo que me tarda en cargar la partida a mi me sobra con los juegos de facebook, y sin gastarme ni un céntimo (salvo en el sims social porque me apatece).

Lo que he hecho ha sido desintalarlo, con todas las expansiones. Quizás en el futuro vuelva a jugar, pero dentro de varios años con un PC muchísimo más potente, de la siguiente generación. Desde luego tengo bien claro que no quiero nada de los Sims 4.

Si la actualización se bajó por medio del lanzador y Origin, antes de que se ejecute, busca en la carpeta donde Origin coloca las actualizaciones bajadas (solo de manera temporal, en cuanto se sale del lanzador, se borra el archivo) que suele ser esta carpeta:
C:\ProgramData\EA Core\cache
donde las actualizaciones del juego que se bajan desde el lanzador están mientras se instalan.

Prueba a copiar la actualización a otro lado, cerrar el lanzador y ejecutar el archivo de la actualización sin abrir el juego (y con la carpeta de datos del jugador en otra parte que no sea mis Documentos)

Se agradece el detalle, eres muy amable por la sugerencia, pero si ya no disfruto del juego no vale la pena tomarme tantas molestias. Ya te he dicho que llevo meses sin jugar. Ahora simplemente me compraré el resto de expansiones a modo de coleccionismo, y quizás dentro de algunos años cuando tenga un PC mucho más potente, me animaré a reinstalarlo por los viejos tiempos. (Espero que para entonces todavía siga abierta la store).

¡Pregunta! ¿necesitamos si o si instalar esta increíblemente útil actualización?
Es que apenas actualicé todos mis mods para la 1.47 y pues, según entiendo, no les afecta esta actu y bueno, preferiria pasar de ella hasta que salga otra que sí sea útil xDu.
Creo que me hice bolas al explicarme, pero en concreto ¿no me afecta en nada no tenerla o si? o-o
