Yo siempre estaré aquí, y aunque ahora casi todo el mundo ya sabe inglés y están aprendiendo otros idiomas (francés, Alemán) y algunos como los asiaticos, que no van a triunfar debido a que los idiomas con nuestro abecedario son muchísimo más fáciles, y ya sabeis la ley del minimo esfuerzo, como los numeros, que nuestros numeros son árabes en realidad, no los latinos romances que habian de ser.
Pues, a parte de liarme mucho, que es bastante obvio, me gustaría ayudaros en lo que fuese, Y SER AMIGA DE MARIE jujujujuju. Por fin una bilingüe, de la cual he leido el post, porque como he dicho, no soy muy dada a la lectura, y soy rubia también xDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.

En inglés, las subordinadas temporales (when) se construyen con el verbo en presente, nunca verás que lleven el futuro (en realidad, en español tampoco llevan futuro, llevan presente, de subjuntivo xD, pero presente). Así pues es muy sencillo:
"And when I am 18 years old"
"and when I am 16 years old"
y aunque no vaya aquí, el futuro del verbo "to be" se forma con "will", como cualquier otro verbo: "I will be home for Christmas"

But anyways, i think that it'll/d be better to say, When i Turn Eighteen, that When I am Eighteen.
Because, we all english people say that, because (actaully idk why) but its like that, you wont be the same person being seventeen, than being eighteen, so its like a change you ought to do, is unavoidable (inevitable)

If you want to, I can help you with this, Its so easy!
Do it like if it was in spanish, like, Me: Im going to the beach.
You: She said she was going to the beach.

Present simple ---> Past Simple
Present Continuous ---> Past Continuous
Present Perfect ----> Past Perfect For exmpl: I have lived in Australia for 1 year. She said she had lived in Australia for 1 year.
Past Simple ---> Past Perfect (I think)
Future ----> Conditional.

And the rest I dont remember right now. But think it like it were spanish, its easier. And then you translate it to spanish.

Well, the case is telling us that the current education system was crap, in fact, in my country, 93% of students fail the admission test.

I wonder, how is possible that may have learned more English through conversations on this topic and internet forums that in my own institution?

Now I feel like everything is going down, education is undervalued.

My opinion is that what they teach is "wrong", why wrong?, because they put so many matters that we see superficially. I prefer quality to quantity. In college, the matter should be necessary for the career, because not everyone was born to study physics or chemistry. It will seem that not want to study, but is not the case, because sincerely, for me, is unnecessary to have a high academic load if you will not use it.

What is your opinion about this topic?

I come to tell a story= no necesitas el futuro ("vengo a contar una historia" = también en presente en castellano)

recuerda que, al no haber diferencias en la conjugación en los verbos en inglés (excepto en la 3ª persona sg), siempre hay que poner sujeto. En castellano puedes decir "vienes" y sabes que el sujeto es "tú", o "venimos" y el sujeto "nosotros", aunque no esté explícito. En inglés, si dices "come" ¿quién es el sujeto?
"In general"= mejor "generally speaking"
"the case is"= más bien "The point". Y necesitas mantener la coordinación temporal en el párrafo: si has empezado en pasado, continúa en pasado (the teacher was talking to us...// the point was).
Te dejo la frase corregida:
"At school, the teacher was talking to us about university. She told us that, in the central university of my country, generally speaking all teachers and deans always humiliate the students. The point was to tell us that the current educational system was crap" (el resto de la frase está bien)

lo mismo, el sujeto: "how is possible that I may have learned"
"institution"= no suele usarse para referirse a una institución educativa, tiene otros usos (penitenciaria, hospitalaria, del gobierno). Simplemente, "school" o "high school", esta última si es el instituto.

sujeto otra vez xD, y recuerda que con excepción del verbo to be y de los modales, todos los verbos necesitan el auxiliar "do" para negativa e interrogativa: "It will seem that I don't want to study"
sujeto: "but it is not the case" "it is unnecessary"
"if you will not use it" = yo usaría aquí un presente continuo: "if you are not going to use it".

My opinion:
Ok, it is difficult to give my opinion as I'm not familiar with the current educational situation in your country, and I'm not certain which level you're studying. Still, I'd like to point out a couple of things:
- obviously, solving doubts of one particular student when you've got all the time in the world xD can't be the same as to try and teach a whole class of students, each one with their own level of English, within a set amount of time, whilst trying to reach certain goals at the same time, such as percentage of approvals, etc.
- once again, this is hard to answer without knowing which course you are studying. Regardless, I think that, up till certain age, you have to learn as much as you can from a wide variety of subjects, in order to consider yourself an educated person. I don't believe in separating and specifying studies at too early a stage, because students will end up with a substantial lack of general knowledge. Ok, you'll probably be the best at Physics, but you will have no idea f.ex. of the great works of literature in your culture. People always use USA as an example, as they are a country with important engineers who may not be able to point at Spain in a map.
